KINGRYTHEFIRST is the recording alias of Ryan Alan - rapper, singer, songwriter, producer, and engineer based out of Denver, CO. Ryan began producing at age 14 and professionally releasing music at age 15, via mixtapes with overseas DJ's and DatPiff. In 2010 Ryan moved to Los Angeles where he gained massive inspiration and further began honing his craft, while attending the Los Angeles Recording School. After a couple of years in Los Angeles, Ryan moved back to Denver and began teaching himself multiple instruments (guitar, bass, drums) and working as an audio engineer. The KingRyTheFirst sound stems from influence by artists such as Prince, Jay Z, Kanye West, Kid Cudi, Travis Scott, Nirvana, The Killers, The Strokes, Kendrick Lamar, and Drake amongst others.
