Mil’s Trills is a children’s music project, founded by Amelia Robinson, who invites families to celebrate the community through interactive performances that feature original tunes and a rotating cast of musical guests. Mil’s Trills released their debut album “Everyone Together Now!” in January 2014, which enlists thirteen musicians playing a total of forty-one flavorful instruments. Their hit single, “Mother May I?”, appears on the children’s album, “Songs for a Healthier America”, released by Michelle Obama’s Partnership for a Healthier America and Hip Hop Public Health, and promotes healthy lifestyles for kids. “Now That We’re Friends…” is Mil’s Trills’ second award winning family album and works to foster friendships through open minds and compassionate hearts. Their third family album, "Ridiculous Nonsense", shines a light into the creative process with songs written through imaginative play and freedom of expression. Look for it January 2018. Mil’s Trills has performed at Lincoln Center as part of their Meet the Artist School & Saturday series, BAM, Guggenheim, Symphony Space, Brooklyn Children’s Museum, Tribeca Film Festival, Children’s Museum of Manhattan, 92Y, JCC, South Street Seaport with Sesame Street’s Gordon and Elmo, the Intrepid Kid’s Week, Brooklyn Public Library, and overseas at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in Scotland.
