Plague of Souls

Op. 2

Biography

Born in Blois, France, Clement Octavio Renton (Clem RG) comes from a long line of musicians, including the first female conductor in Chile. He began playing violin at two years of age, and studied piano with his mother, Monica Gonzalez-Correa, and uncle, Aaron Wajnberg, before coming to the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole, where he plays harpsichord under the direction of Maestra Giulia Nuti. He also studies cello with Maestra Alice Gabbiani. Driven by his enthusiasm for film music, in particular, Clement commenced his studies of music composition with Maestro Andrea Portera at Fiesole in the winter of 2020. His work, ‘Plague of Souls’, written for harpsichord and cello, is inspired by Dante Alighieri's Inferno Canti 1 to 3 from 'La Divina Comedia' Contact Clem RG: octaviorecordz@gmail.com
