TAI is a Brazilian singer-songwriter and poet based in Belgium. Her music mixes soul-funky, Brazilian music & Latin rhythms. Her artistic career began in Bahia, Brazil. Then TAI moved to Spain, where she participated in several Festivals, TV programs and recorded her first album in Barcelona. In 2007 TAI made a cameo in the film “La carta esférica” (Sony Pictures, Spain) with her song “Algo así”, which also became the title of her album. In 2014 she released "Algures / En algún lugar", her first book of poetry. In Belgium, TAI released 3 singles in collaboration with DJ SoulJan: “Maravilla”, “Quiero escuchar tu voz” & “Me gustas tú”. In 2020, Buscemi, acclaimed Belgian DJ & producer, featured TAI with her song “Lua Bonita”. In 2021 Buscemi released “Mistral du Sud”, his 9th album, which includes “Lua Bonita”, as well as another feat. with TAI, “Lábios de mel”. Between 2022 and 2023 TAI recorded her new EP “Presente”, produced by Rodrigo Lacerda, at Space Studio, Belgium. “Presente” is now available on all digital platforms!
