Best known for fronting the influential and beloved group Chromatics, Los Angeles-based artist Ruth Radelet solidified her solo career with her debut EP “The Other Side,” listed as #9 in Gorilla vs. Bear’s top 30 EPs of 2022. Written over the course of two years and recorded with friend and producer Filip Nikolic (formerly of Poolside), The Other Side showcases Radelet’s timeless voice and classic take on songwriting. Since the release of “The Other Side,” Radelet has been featured on tracks by Soft Kill and Krakow Loves Adana, and has again teamed with Nikolic for two singles of her own. She released a stripped down cover of Leonard Cohen’s “Leaving the Table” last spring, and returns to a shimmering dream pop sound with her latest single “Shoot Me Down.” Radelet recently headlined two sold out shows in Los Angeles, performed at Rising: Melbourne in Australia, and has shared the bill with veteran artists Wild Nothing, Soft Kill, Metric and STRFKR. Ruth Radelet will be touring extensively in 2024, supporting STRFKR, Chromeo and The Midnight.
