The San Antonio, Texas native artist AJ Powers, Leader of collective Optical Renegade had a passion for music since early childhood. This southern artist was influenced by down south hip-hop and east coast boom-bat genres. Fascinated by the articulation of words and melodies he would begin his musical career. Versatility is his strong suit because reaching and connecting with people is what’s most important to him. “Music was destined for me, it’s in my roots, and has been a passion of mine since I was a child. I feel that I have the power in my voice and thoughts to manifest the reality I wish to perceive.
