Violent Vickie is a West Palm Beach, Florida based producer, synth player, and vocalist. Formerly based out of Los Angeles, Violent Vickie blends the sounds of darkwave, synth-pop, post-punk, witch house, and riot grrrrl to create a spooky, grungy, danceable and epic sound with ethereal and tongue ’n cheek vocals that is all her own. Violent Vickie’s influences range from Crystal Castles and Grimes to Bjork and Bikini Kill to Siouxsie and The Banshees and Aphex Twin. Violent Vickie released Division Remixes in 2022 featuring Get To Me - Fragrance Remix and Lovelace - Kontravoid Remix VV recently shared the stage with Aurelio Voltaire and Assemblage 23 and played Absolution Fest. Vickie's track The Blame was selected for Fresh on the Net’s Fresh Faves, her music video for Serotonin was featured on EDM Joy, + her music video for Circle Square was featured on Postpunk.com.   Vickie’s track Lies was featured on Emerald & Doreen Records (Berlin) and The Scientist was pressed on a vinyl compilation put out by the LoveCraft Bar (PDX).  Her track The Wolf was featured on a Riot Grrrl Berlin compilation and a film by the National Organization for Women.  Violent Vickie’s LP Monster Alley (2013) was voted best album by KALX + her sophomore LP Division was released in September 2020 on Crunch Pod. Emerald and Doreen released Under the Gun (Remixes) in 2021.
