Deemed a 'Breakthrough Star' by MMSCENE Magazine, English-Nigerian producer, singer, songwriter, instrumentalist, speaker, and model, ASHER YELO, is one to watch. Having been signed to Quincy Jones Productions, Inc. for management and received a nomination for Rookie of the Year at the 2022 Denniz Pop Awards (selected by a jury composed of Max Martin, Tove Lo, Rami Yacoub and more), he is taking the definition of “bedroom producer” to new heights. His lead single “go backwards” was featured in Oprah Winfrey’s “Queen Sugar” and also received support from Australian radio. At 21 years of age, 2022 brought forth a new side of ASHER YELO, with the release of his second EP, mr. misunderstood. In addition, he now adds the 2022 Harold Adamson Lyric Award from ASCAP to his list of accomplishments. Along with his own personal projects, 2023 has launched ASHER YELO into a wide array of collaborative opportunities, including the Atlantic Records “Freshman Fridays” camp for the Atlantic roster, a week long K-pop writing Camp in Stockholm for one of the largest labels in Korea, SM, and over 40+ sessions for other projects since the start of the year. On the heels of his Instagram remixes, which received recognition from the official Instagram team, and led to an onsite activation at Coachella, ASHER YELO continues to expand his catalog by writing and producing for a wide range of artists, with a variety of releases set for 2023.
