Hermit is an electronic project born in Italy. Their main inspirations are the brand new club scene in Berlin and NYC and artists such as Howling, Bob Moses, Whomadewho and HVOB. They play live on stage what is usually part of a dj-set, mixing the most typical elements of a pop-rock band with the contemporary club culture’s sound. Hermit music style is very introspective, made of oneiric guitars, voices and techno drum grooves. The band’s first EP “Going Under” came out on 20th May, 2016 (INRI), consisting of two tracks: “Going Under” and a cover of The Black Keys’ hit “Lonely Boy”. Even if the Hermit project was pretty new, they immediately started playing all around Italy. They also took part in I-Days Festival 2016 in Milan, where they performed on the Red Bull Tour Bus. In the meantime, Hermit won the MTV award for ”Best New Generation Electro 2016". On 18th November, 2016 they published a new EP called “Promises”. On 17th March, 2017 their following EP ‘’The Hush’’ was published on Rolling Stone Italia as a preview, then the band continued touring around Italy. After a line-up change, on 26th January, 2018 Hermit make a big comeback with the release of a brand new single: “You Are Gold” (ft. Aftersalsa).
