Award-winning composer, James R K Freeman, writes and produces music for all media. James grew up in York, and began playing the piano before he could even walk! He became a chorister in York Minster cathedral, where he also met his mentor and life-long friend - the renowned composer Richard Shephard. A musical prodigy, James was awarded Young Composer of the Year in the UK, and later received a scholarship to read music at the University of Cambridge. His style is profoundly influenced by both his classical training and love for electronic music production, fusing traditional orchestral composition with electronic, rock and ethnic music. James’ music has been played around the world, to audiences of thousands, including such prestigious venues as the Royal Albert Hall.
