Sighting influences from a wide range of artists, such as the Wu-Tang Clan to Pink Floyd, Dave Stone is an artist, emcee and producer hailing from the North West Chicago suburb of Elgin Illinois. 
 Dave Stone is also one of the founding members of Elgin, Illinois' own, Watch City. A local hip-hop collective of artists ranging from emcees, producers, DJ’s & artists alike. 
 He's currently hard at work on his debut LP, tentatively titled "they’re all going to laugh at you.", which is due to be released in 2020. On March 4, 2019, he released the single release, “I’m Fine. (I Swear)”, to all major streaming services, which marked his first formal solo release in years. 
 On January 15, 2020, he released his first drop of the new decade, entitled “plagued.”, which is co-produced with Watch City’s own in-house producer & DJ, Kasz, and followed-up on February 14, 2020 with the release of the single “shine.”. As the world took an unexpected turn in 2020, he has decided to take his time in cultivating his debut LP with plans to release it in the forthcoming year.
