Lester “Jvngle” Armstrong was born on February 25 1987 in New Orleans, La. He first fell in love with music as early as 10 years old after hearing his older brother and friends rap group. At that moment he knew music was his calling. Jvngle began writing rhymes with his neighborhood friend and they would record themselves on a tape deck player over beats his other friend starting making. By the time he was 14 the young MC started performing at local talent shows around the city with the group he and his friends formed. It wasn’t until high school when Jvngle along with his group mates began to get recognition around the city appearing on a local hip hop tv show and performing at every event the city had to offer. They also began touring all over the southern region opening up for major acts. After Hurricane Katrina devastated the city of New Orleans in 2005 the group began to make its mark in Houston, Tx. After a 2 year hiatus the New Orleans rapper found himself back in the vocal booth after linking up with former group member, producer & cousin. It was then the 21 year old started reinventing himself with creative song topics & witty rhyme patterns. Fast forward and now the rapper is set to release his Debut Ep, G.O.D. (Gold Oil & Drugz) on May 27th 2016. Which he would say is his most complete and well rounded project to date.
