Johnny Gorillas is a musician and producer from Germany. He started a weekly series on Instagram in September 2018, posting new music every week. His style varies from sample-based and lofi inspired beats to electronic synth grooves to more experimental ambient jams. Johnny’s Tuesday Tunes and Wednesday Vibes attracted more and more followers on Instagram over the last two years and people started to ask for full tracks. During lockdown in the spring of 2020, Johnny finally started to work on an EP. „The 2020 Tapes“ was released in January.
