Adorable Harp Sound Margret Koell explores the universe of historical harps. Especially she is devoted to harps with multiple sets of strings. For her listeners, she opens the doors on a sensuous baroque landscape that sparkles and enchants. Both as a soloist and as a continuo player, Margret Koell works with leading baroque orchestras, e.g. Il Giardino Armonico, Accademia Bizantina, Europa Galante, B’ Rock, Concerto Köln and Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin. Her solo recitals, duos and trios are brilliant examples of technical perfection and passion for the music. One of her concert highlights was the inauguration of the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, where she performed as a duo with countertenor Philippe Jaroussky. Margret Koell is also the founder of the interdisciplinary platform Harfenlabor, through which she has been programming and presenting the Innsbruck Harp Biennale since 2021.
