Hastaman Tamang, professionally known as Jivan Bomjan Tamang, has been contributing to the Nepali music industry for over many years as a Nepalese folk singer, lyricist, music composer, and music video director. He was born on May 9, 1983, in Pokali-6, Okhaldhunga District, later migrated to Khijidemba Rural Municipality Ward No. 5, Okhaldhunga, Nepal. He currently resides in Kathmandu. Career He began his musical training at Kirateshwor Sangeet Ashram (2005–2006), Bishal Kala Kendra (2015–2017), and under Nirash Thapa (2020–2021). He is now training under Sanjeev Ale at Aastha Kala Kendra (since 2024). He started writing songs at 15 (1998) and began singing in 2002. His debut album, "Aappako Chhora", launched his career.
