Biography

Peach Face is the musical project of 24-year old Alison Ramírez. Alison, a Salvadoran American artist, was born and raised in Baltimore and recently moved to Richmond VA to expand her community outreach. Alison writes ethereal, indie-pop, synth-fueled songs of love, loss, and identity. Her lyrics cycle through the lens of existing simultaneously in disparate worlds. Ever-changing, her current influences include Remi Wolf, Sylvan Esso and Ravyn Lenae . In 2018 she released her first single, “Grilled Cheese”, which she recorded and released herself using Garage Band. The song found unexpected success, and to date has over 3.9 million streams on Spotify. She began performing live at the beginning of 2019. Since then Alison has played shows with popular artists such as Girlpool, Adi Oasis, Brothertiger, Parquet Courts, as well as a performance on the main stage at Firefly Festival. Alison’s latest release of her debut album “Grocery Store Flowers” is a departure from her previous work, exploring new layers and textures of sound that give her listeners a fun, fresh and flirty energy to connect and relate to. No longer a solo performing artist, Alison now brings a full band to the stage with Tom McClean (Modern Nomad), John Burkhardt, Walsh Kunkel and producer Charlie Thompson (Not Charles).
