Nijel Noel drifts over alternative R&B, Contemporary and Electronic Pop tracks. Born in New Jersey and raised in PG Maryland the singer, songwriter, and occasional rapper had no interest in making music. Until he met Dori M. in college fall 2015 who produced his first 2 tracks “Bring Me the Light" and "Ocean Moon" that went viral on Soundcloud. Later popular DJs began to create club mixes and ask for collaborative vocals to sample. There peaked interest from Malik Trips who often asked him to add supporting vocals to tracks like "Hi-ChewV2" &”OutroV2" Shortly after Nijel Noel was signed to a Top Modeling agency where he took a break from music and dropped occasional singles like "Been Wonderin" exclusively on Soundcloud. Nijel's uniqueness comes from growing up in a very relaxed Christian household where he was introduced to art and music at a very young age by his dad listening to artist like Floetry, Sade, Prince, Kem, Lauryn Hill and other soulful artist it procured an unusual interest in underground, and alternative music in latter years. Current influences include SZA, Doja Cat, Abra, Jaden, Tyler the Creator and Solange. Nijel dropped his first album in 2018 “Light Otez” that dealt with his emotional struggles in the modeling industry and the toll it took. In 2019 Nijel returned to the Music scene with a single "Default” that gave his fans a glimpse of a emerging rap persona “Glitter Boy”. Which makes his debut on his 2021 Album "Digital Glitsand”.
