Stuart Alexander Lee is an American Rapper known by his stage name, Stu Lee(artist formerly known as Stu Cat). Stu is from Miami, Florida's West Perrine neighborhood. He started his career with Billion Dollar Music, a company owned by the late Lerenzo "Live" Haynes Sr. a very close friend and mentor of Stu. In 2001 Stu Lee helped form "Yard Boyz". A rap group alongside his cousin Corey "Fish Stix" Harris, and friend Gerald "G Man" Hoggan. In 2007 Stu Lee started his solo career. He landed deals with Independent labels N.M.E. and Leedz Edutainment. Stu Lee's music started to buzz, showing up on underground and college stations in cities and states all over the country like Boston, New Hampshire, Providence, Maryland, Syracuse, and LA. This helped Producer Teddy Roxpin(Known for working with the late Rapper Mac Miller) find Stu so the two could connect on the 2015 effort "Toast to the Game LP". The project pulled features from Boston Native Michael Christmas and the famed New Yorker Action Bronson.
