San Francisco based producer Maratta fuses his love of the music tradition with the cutting edge of today’s dance sound to create a lush, disco-infused vibe all his own. Originally Seattle born, Maratta’s insatiable love of music ranging from local Seattle Hip-Hop to Steely Dan and Michael Jackson lead to a life of diverse musical education and ambition, culminating in an new found love of dance music upon moving to the Bay Area to attend Berkeley. Upon receiving hundreds of thousands of plays on remixes and support from the likes of established acts MAKJ, Koni, Figgy, Bakermat and Goldroom, Maratta is turning his focus to creating an all original fusion of sultry disco grooves combined with pop melody and jazz harmony making him an upcoming producer to watch in 2024.
