Steve Ray is a producer, songwriter, arranger and musician from Hopkins, South Carolina. His musical talents include the banjo, Dobro, piano, Hammond organ, lead guitar, accordion, bass guitar, and spoons. He is currently touring in the lead role of Cirque Du Soleil's country music show “Songblazers”. Steve performs bass and guitar with Grammy nominee Robert Randolph and the Family Band, as well as the 6-time Grammy award winners "The Blind Boys Of Alabama." He has made appearances on the Don Imus TV show, Rachel Ray Show, The View, The Today Show, Sirius XM Radio, CTV, BET, "Canadian TV" Audio Tree TV and many more. Steve Ray dedicates most of his time to the studio when he is not touring. Although his roots are quartet gospel, he has set himself to be well-rounded in all genres of music including blues, jazz, R&B, country, and bluegrass. He began singing and playing in 1996 as a quartet gospel group with his brother and cousins, and performed with many gospel greats.
