Sam DiNovo was born in Columbus, Ohio, in 1997. After spending his childhood as a buckeye, he and his family moved to Lexington, South Carolina. When he reached the young age of 15, he started experimenting with making beats, writing lyrics, and recording vocals via a school-issued iPad. He quickly found out that he enjoyed the creative process of producing and recording and was not afraid to admit that he was good at it too. He spent numerous hours as a teenager and young adult free-styling with friends, collaborating with local artists, and fine-tuning his craft. Sam DiNovo also worked with producers and engineers in Columbia, SC as he released music on streaming platforms and uploaded music videos to YouTube. He began performing his songs in front of live audiences for the first time in 2018 when he attended college in Nashville, TN. He continues to perform in Charlotte, NC, where he currently resides today.
