Showing a lot of intelligence or the ability to think quickly Is just one way to describe the style and flow of Toronto’s very own Iron Wind bringing his own distinct sound with inspiration from the Wu Tang Clan, Masta Killa being one of his main inspirations from the Clan, Flipmode Squad and Last Emperor to name a few. With a mysterious persona Iron Wind keeps his identity hidden by wearing a Samurai mempo mask in order to strike fear in his opponent the same way Samurai Warriors would have done on the battlefield centuries ago until he steps on stage to deliver a cut throat performance unlike any other. Iron Wind started off by releasing two EP albums titled Bloodwind & Storm of The Century. Iron Wind also features on various Wu Tang Mix tapes. DJ Espee's We Got Next, Spirit of the Sword by DJWiz, 1 Luv by DJ Wiz, Sick Of being Overlooked by DJ Wiz and Protect Ya Neck's The Ambush Vol. 1, are just a taste of Iron Wind's potential but his skill was unsheathed on his debut album ‘The Warrior Inside’ released in 2016. For the past five years Iron Wind has put away the mask to collab with Toronto artist District Prime under the group name Primal Winds releasing 5 albums. Iron Wind now returns with a new team of players as a solo artist, bringing back his relentless assault of beats & rhymes and has dawned the Samurai mask once again rebranding himself as an artist/producer under My City Records (MCR) and co founding member of the 47 Ronin Movement .
