Biography

Inspired by legendary Avicii and his love to electronic music, Vindu started producing at age of 16 and since then has captured millions of listeners. Tarik, more known as Vindu picked up his artist name while watching Star Wars from a character "Mace Windu" replacing "W" with "V". First following footsteps of his idol Avicii and under influence of many other NoCopyrightSounds artists such as Tobu, Alan Walker and Jim Yosef, he started producing melodic/progressive house genre for two years, producing an anthem called Wizard (with Arkis) with his collaborator Arkis. He takes a break in 2017 only to be back in 2018 with two singles and one of which placed on a biggest synthwave YouTube channel NewRetroWave with his song Online. His search for true genre ends in 2019. The genre exploration brought him to Eternal Youth by RŮDE and something caught his attention (he falls in love with the genre) but couldn't find many songs related. Determined to preserve in this genre of music, he decides to make his own japanese lofi/chillhop music and forge his name as one of the founder artists of japanese lofi/chillhop. Unexpectedly he was placed on one of the YouTube mixes on Mr_MoMo Music where the first million of views came really quick and started getting more attention. After that, his music blew up on YouTube and Spotify with hundreds of features in mixes on channels like thebootlegboy, Dreamy, Mr_MoMo Music and many more. But the journey is only about to start...
