LIA MOON juggles between her turntables while improvising on the flute, keyboard and drumpad. It combines the power of the sound system with instrumental virtuosity, accompanied by the traditional afro- caribbean rhythms of its percussionist Cisko. By citing artists such as Supernova, Thornato, Ghetto Kumbé, Pongo, Modselektor, Dj Karaba, Buraka Som Sistema, she promotes mixed and egalitarian electronic music. After collaborating with Wax Tailor, Alpha Blondy, Gasandji, David Walters and Fakear, the DJ multi-instrumentalist released his first album « Housewife » (2021, EMME/Music Box Publishing) and today she reveals a series of new songs including « Bounce » (October 9, 2023).
