Guitarist turned composer turned DJ and producer RiffMusicPony has been making music and touring with many bands such as When Autumn Sleeps, Navagita and more. Often filling in roles of temp guitar player or collaborator, the solo musician had reached widespread acclaim with the debut of his album Wrecked in 2017. Born David Jesus Suarez in Harbor City, CA he has been introduced to music at the very young age of 2. His father Daniel Suarez Jr. brought him up on Latin Jazz, Funk, Blues, R&B, Soul and Oldies. After his father's passing David's musical journey would be re-ignited in the years leading up to 2006 when he picked up his first guitar. While in high school, he would spend hours learning guitar from YouTube watching guitar legend to learn how to SHRED. Then came orchestra inspired by film score composers. Then a jump into the Virtual Instrument scene, anything was possible at this point. The complex process of composing helped shape his Electronic music paired together with his college education in music; the sky is the limit. Always finding inspiration in different genres, RiffMusicPony spent several years training on guitar to proficient levels. Award winner of two Cypress College recitals. Then learning about digital music production in 2012, went on to produce many more albums and singles on Bandcamp. While DJ-ing and producing remain his top priority, the guitar is still his favorite instrument to this day.
