Born and raised in Haiti, KOLO embarked on his musical journey in 2013, driven by a deep connection to his Haitian culture and heritage. In 2016, KOLO delved into the world of DJ-ing. From popular clubs to vibrant bars in Port-au-Prince, he quickly garnered attention and solidified his name within the music scene. His talents expanded across the country, reaching cities like Cap-Haitian, where he co-founded the renowned block party (now a band) "Gwolobo" alongside ManitoNation, Kabysh and Paul Beaubrun and Ti Tanbou . KOLO joined the most legendary Haitian band, Boukman Eksperyans. Their musical prowess led them to open for the Arcade Fire's "WE" tour in Europe, USA, and Canada in 2022. Together, they performed in venues such as the Mercedes Benz Arena in Berlin, Zenith de Lilles and Nantes, Barclays Center in New York, Bell Center in Montreal, and many many more. KOLO's captivating performances extended to major international festivals, including the acclaimed "BAYO" where he shared stages with artists such as Michaël Brun, Wyclef Jean, J Balvin and many more. Also, he made audiences jump and dance at renowned venues like the House of Blues in Boston and Pier 17 in New York. Additionally, his talent took him to one of the world's most significant underground shows, "Moonshine."
