Audrey was a South African singer who was exiled to Hamburg Germany during the apartheid years. She made a solo career as a jazz/blues/gospel act and recorded several albums in her name and contributed to may others as a session singer. She began her international career in the rock group Hawk but moved oer to jazz and blues when she worked in London in th 1970s.
