Born in Manhattan and raised in South Carolina, Andrew Preisig knew from a young age that music was his life’s passion. Under the production moniker Jetlag, he found himself working with Grammy nominees like Lil Yachty, and heavy-hitters like Project Pat. Though rooted in hip-hop, his production style has gradually become a genre-bending spectacle, influenced by the likes of Gorillaz, Three 6 Mafia, and Bob Marley. In 2020, Jetlag released his "At Any Cost" EP with Virgil Abloh-collaborator and Working On Dying artist, Asaad. The following year, he released his full length album, "Kreeze Land," with friend and longtime collaborator Ant-Live, featuring appearances from KEY! and Lil B. His next project, "Laika FM," will be his first solo effort, introducing a new sound which combined elements of dance, hip-hop, and reggae. A graduate of NYU Steinhardt’s storied Music Business M.A. program, Preisig kickstarted his career in music journalism and publicity, before pivoting to his current role in artist management, providing day-to-day services for chart-toppers like Natasha Bedingfield, Duran Duran, and Bryan Ferry. While Preisig furthers his music business career behind-the-curtain, his insatiable hunger for artistic expression only grows as he aims to serve as a guiding light for the next generation of producers.
