In the realm of hip hop, Malikthesheik is a formidable presence, having grown up in Jacksonville, Florida. Possessing a strong love for music, he has become a well-known personality in the modern Hip Hop scene. Malikthesheik, a musician renowned for his flawless flow and engrossing lyrics, infuses his songs with a special kind of narrative and unadulterated emotion. He started writing raps at the very young age of nine years old. But would start taking music more seriously when he reached his teenager years. He made his first song “Basquiat” on YouTube , and ever since then he has been building his artistry up, by dropping singles at first experimenting with his sound, then eventually he would drop his first project “Different Flavors 2”on (December 25th, 2022) and his second album “Mans Dem Wild” was dropped on (November 12th, 2023). The name malikthesheik would come from a significant call with his close friend Marvin (aka) “Fluxx” or “Marvin.”But the name Malikthesheik originated from the game Legend Of Zelda, and specifically the character “Sheik” from that series. He recalls picking the name “Sheik” because of the presence that she had on screen was magical, intriguing, and wise that’s how he views his music. His mission is to have every listener, that listens to him to leave with some sorta information or being inspired to do something with their life.
