Kelly Eryn (she/her) is a music producer, singer-songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. Kelly started making music as a kid, with a DOS 8-bit 'mod sequencer on her father's computer. Her influences range from EDM and prog-rock to new wave, avant-pop and grunge. After playing around with some garage bands in high school and college, she found herself immersed in the EDM world. She learned how to beat mix and scratch on a pair of turntables, and eventually began producing music under the Apoq79 moniker. She released songs and remixes in indie EDM underground, and performed a handful of festivals, including the now-defunct Cornerstone Music Festival, where she headlined the dance barn, before taking a break from music. She was called back as drummer and keyboardist for the art-rock group Phasmids and eventually took over as full time keyboardist, before toying around with the idea of producing EDM again on the side. When the band dissolved, she began focusing more on her music, and has released two singles and a remix under the new name, "Kelly Eryn". The project began to evolve when she put together a band to support her in live shows. "The Midnight Vigil" is driven by Jaki Howser (she/her, MADQUEEN) on drums, Harley Gifford (they/them) on guitar, and Eric Geise (he/him) on bass guitar. Kelly is currently at work recording more singles, an EP with The Midnight Vigil, and a double concept album. 📸 Roses of Fire Photography, Colleen King, Gemini Ravenscraft
