Daniel Pennie is an award-winning composer, guitarist and half of the art-rock visual/musical ensemble Noise in Your Eye. Pennie’s Art background lends a unique perspective to his music practice and his wide-ranging projects and collaborations. He is an experienced improviser and uses the Electric Guitar as a noise-generator; creating soundscapes through loops, layers & treatments. “Using prepared-guitar I also aim to push the instrument beyond its physical limitations which is informed entirely by visual and musical articulations”.
