Tokenview make cinematic rock/pop that’s as playful as it is dramatic; as retro as it is contemporary. Friends since childhood, the band grew up in the creatively fertile Northern Beaches of Sydney, Australia. Tokenview have been invited to share stages with Foo Fighters, Birds of Tokyo, and The Mess Hall, with their formidable live reputation spearheaded by double-drum percussion freakouts and the 60s-esque harmonies of dual singers Brett Clemenson and Ed Prescott. The band’s adventurous and diverse 2009 debut record ‘Patience at Sea’ features an amazing array of guest appearances from Wally De Backer (Gotye, The Basics), Midnight Oil legend Rob Hirst and Triple J favourite Megan Washington.
