Gisli Galdur Thorgeirsson is an Icelandic musician and composer. He has worked in many different fields of music over the past years. His music career covers work as a member of Icelandic pop, glam and rock bands, DJing extensively and making music, sound designing and performances for theatre and dance, films and TV commercials, radio drama and artistic installations. He has been a member of and collaborated with bands such as Trabant, Quarashi, Ghostigital, Motion Boys and Human Woman with whom he has released several records and performed with live around the world. Gisli has been nominated for the Icelandic Performing Arts Award many times for his music and sound design in the theatre and received the award for sound and music in the acclaimed dance performance Humanimal in 2009. Gisli graduated from the Music Production program from the Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen in 2015 where he now lives with his family. In 2016, Gisli composed music to the short film Cubs by the Icelandic director Nanna Kristin Magnusdottir which received numerous prizes and great reviews. After that he teamed up with director Ísold Uggadóttir and composed music for her first full feature "And Breathe Normally" which was premiered at Sundance Film Festival in January 2018.
