Munay Ki Dub is an electronic dub trio, representing a new breed of dub artists. Hailing up from the mountains of central Argentina, they combine live instruments such as violin, melodica, percussion, bass and guitar with programming, effects and digital instruments. Signed to Dubophonic Records, MKD have released two EPs to date - MKD in 2020 followed by Groove of Meditation in 2021. MKD began to emerge from the underground when chosen by the national newspaper Página12 as one of the best young artists at Cosquín Rock 2020. The same year, MKD was awarded the Rootstock Artist Award (France), and then MKD CLUB was awarded a national arts prize by La Usina del Arte (Argentina) as one of the best streaming shows during the pandemic. MKD has received interest from local, national and international media including the BBC (UK), Página 12 (AR), La Voz del Interior (AR), and Pelagatos (Latin America regional portal). In 2022, MKD supported Dancing Mood and Non Palidece before heading to Buenos Aires on their first tour of the city.
