Biography

Emil Strandberg (b. 1980) is a Swedish trumpet player, composer and improviser whose music is characterized by abstract lyricism. Aside from his own bands, his work spans the whole spectrum from early jazz with the Umlaut Big Band to free improvisation with Philipp Wachsmann.
