Barz Damu is a recording artist representing FlyMind Nation who enjoys his craft in every facet, takes his work very seriously, and embraces the culture of Hip Hop. Born in the Bronx, the home of Hip Hop itself, Barz moved down to the College Park suburb south of Atlanta with his northern bred parents at the age of two. Throughout the adolescent upbringing in the southern metro Atlanta region, Barz started rapping at age 8 and it grew into a channel of therapy to cope with his soul's incompatibility with the environment around him. Barz and his twin brother Frank'o Shack put together their debut project together in 2011 and by 2014, teamed up with the artist collective coined NewGA, an artist collective priding itself in making it cool to tell the truth within a genre of false personas. Their Nation Leakz Compilation Tape effort help them win the 2015 YGEA Awards Conscious Artist of the Year. Since then, Frank'o has released a solo album debut and Barz Damu is now on the scene with his solo debut The Abstract Compilation EP. With the debut solo album The X-Hell Projecton the way, Barz Damu has aspirations to inspire listeners to reach their higher self and express their gifts. With experience of hitting the stage at the Culture Fest in Augusta, openning up for CyHi The Prynce in Atlanta and reigning as champ of the Operating While Black cypher, Barz Damu has just turn the key and on the way to push the spirit driven FlyMindNation brand to new heights.
