Tone Krohn is a Norwegian artist and composer. Her music is inspired by Norwegian nature and Scandinavian folk music. Her viking-heritage and traditional culture is present in her art. She has written music for two Grammy-awarded albums. 'Folksongs' (ECM, 2008) and 'Folketoner' (2L) with Det Norske Jentekor (2018). Tone is the producer on her own albums. She has also produced several music-theatre productions. Tone Krohn has received the highly ranked Norwegian Prøysen-prize, and Sandefjord city’s culture-prize. 2022 she is releasing new music, inspired by old norse and viking sagas.
