Dhiaz is a multi-instrumentalist, producer, rapper, singer and songwriter based in Indonesia. As a solo artist, he writes and produces his own music. He started off his musical journey at a very young age in 2011, he was a music editor for multiple hip hop dance groups in his hometown later he started producing his own beats, rapping and releasing his music from scratch. He’s also been a member of G-Town Hip Hop since 2013. He developed his musical style with his retro-vintage sound from a synthesizer, groovy basslines, slick guitars, and sweet vocal harmonies, he is also highly influenced by various genres such as jazz, funk, classical, rock n’ roll, EDM, and R&B. The Beatles is the biggest influential persona for his music production. He added “I always think about them when I got stuck in the middle of production, like what John Lennon & George Harrison would do with this guitar part? What Paul McCartney would do with the bass? What Ringo Starr would do with the drums? As a solo artist and producer, I have to do all of these parts by myself and it’s always helping me a lot when I think about this.“ Revolver (1966) and Abbey Road (1969) are two of his favourites album from The Beatles.
