Singer-songwriter and producer Cutta (Paul Gulyas) defies categorization. His work has ranged from Hip-Hop, R&B and Funk, to Disco and Psychedelic Rock. As vocalist and lead guitar in Alt-Country band The Shams Band he has performed in Chicago and the Midwest since 2008. In his home studio, he also engineered and co-produced the entire massive catalogue of Chicago rapper Chris Crack. Cutta further refined his writing and production skills over the course of his last three EP's, 2020's Physicalism, 2021's The Club Is Closed, and 2023's Too Far To Turn Around. At his home studio in Avondale, Chicago he remains dedicated to continuous artistic discovery and finding meaning among the dark unexamined corners of the human condition.
