Brighton-based DJ and producer George Kwali first appeared on the U.K. house scene in 2015 with his track "Your Love," which was featured on the 14th edition of the Fat! compilation E.P. At the beginning of 2016 Kwali's first proper release appeared on House of Hustle, which saw him teaming up with vocalist Amber Van Day on the single Act No Good. With his tribal- and dancehall- influenced house sound gaining support from DJ's, Kwali partnered up with fellow Brighton-based producer Kideko for the track "Crank It." After major radio and club play from the likes of Annie Mac and Pete Tong, the single was picked up by Ministry of Sound. Released with added vocals from Nadia Rose and Sweet Irie, Crank It (Woah!) stormed the summer clubs of Ibiza and beyond while reaching the U.K. Top 40 singles and dance charts. ~ Rich Wilson, Rovi
