Steadysuffer is dark, elusive, and he doesn’t like to talk much. But his lyrics say everything he could have on his mind, and then some. Steadysuffer has been making emo infused alternative hip-hop that speaks for itself since late 2017. By pairing components of rap with genres like Midwest emo, pop-punk, & indie rock, Steadysuffer has become the author to some gut-wrenching and innovative music. Growing up in the bustling city of San Antonio, Texas, Steadysuffer cites his influences in acts he was exposed to in his youth. Hanging around his older cousin he was familiarized with bands such as Aiden, My Chemical Romance, Circa Survive, Saosin, A Skylit Drive, Underoath, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, Sky Eats Airplane etc. Steadysuffer adduces his sound to those bands, as well as the era of early 2000s post-hardcore, experimental, & emo.
