Coming through with an unconventional style, rapper Shawn May been on the come up, with inspirations such as Kendrick Lamar, Isaiah Rashad, Earl Sweatshirt and more. Hailing from Charlotte, NC, the young MC born Adam Hall Jr., now Deshawn Juneford, moved to Charlotte from Cleveland, OH as a young teen. Growing quite fond of hip hop and rap music, he started recording music at 11, all the way up till his time in the high school iRap program. He put out several mixtapes and stopped rapping for a year, then got back in the game working with fellow North Carolinians MAVI and others, putting out his first EP SAVEYUR . and others. After that May’s worked frequently with artists like Kota the Friend and YGTUT, over the next few projects he put out over the years.
