Biography

Samu-EL is an 18 year old artist who was born in North Carolina. His love for music started strong and early, when his mother signed him up for drum lessons. He instantly had a special affinity for drumming and immediately pursued music. In second grade, he started training as a violinist. He then started playing violin professionally in his freshman year of high school. Samu-EL is inspired by musicians J-Stylz, Petey Pablo, and El Alfa, as well as Bad Bunny, Daniel D, and Black Violin. He interned with J-Stylz of Blackstreet, and likens his personal sound to Black Violin and El Alfa. As such, Samu-EL produces for a diverse fan base, creating a variety of features for artists. Being a classically trained musician, Samu-EL possesses a vast knowledge of international music, specifically Latin and K-Pop. He attributes his success to his creatively-motivated work ethic; “I create diverse styles of music that span generations including Reggaeton, dembow, hip hop, R&B, classical, and bachata.”
