Jonathan van den Wijngaarden is a composer based in the Netherlands. At a young age he got fascinated by the ability of music to convey emotion and tell stories. Early PCs had been a big part of the household and videogames and their music quickly captured Jonathan's imagination. Starting as a composer for videogames at the age of 19, Jonathan further developed his passion for storytelling in music and had a suite of his first project performed by the acclaimed Dutch Metropole Orchestra. A passion for synthesizers, electronic music and experimentation has defined Jonathan's style over the years - having writting music across many different genres and styles. His work can be heard in titles such as After the Fall (Vertigo Games), Honor of Kings (Tencent), World of Warplanes (Wargaming) and the best selling VR game Arizona Sunshine (Vertigo Games / Jaywalkers Interactive).
