Gioco is a Montreal based singer/songwriter/producer. He discovered the power of words as a teenager by sharing his poems with his family and friends. After seeing the positive impact it had on them, he then decided to use music as a tool to spread his message to a wider audience. Gioco's sound explores various genres from hip-hop/trap to reggae/dancehall, afrobeat, electronic music, r&b and even rock in Spanish, French and English - making his style unique. Inspired by his personal experiences and growth, this multi-talented artist is able to blend his honest lyrical content with upbeat rhythms to inspire his audience. Gioco takes what surrounds him to create art. He had shared the stage with well known artists such as Maluma, Gyptian, Konshens, JoryBoy, Fuego, Bubaseta and Doctor Nativo. He also organizes events to promote the local talent of his city and to create a platform for other upcoming artists. Now, Gioco is aiming to bring his music to the international scene in order to share his art worldwide.
