Jack Lumbeta Kafukwilwa (Born February 8 1999), better known by his stage name Jay Trigga, originates from Lusaka Zambia. He started off as a producer in 2015 slowly discovering sounds and studying the industry until 2018 when he decided to officially become an artist. Apart from being a great artist, he is a holder of a petroleum engineering degree and currently doing his masters in business management. Between 2018 and 2021 Jay Trigga dropped 3 EPs. February 8 (2018), Symbolic Rebirth (2018) and most recently “Lover Boy EP”(2021), He also worked on a few Big singles like “Make em dance remix ft Dremo”, “Money featuring Ice Prince “ & “Buss Brain “ which propelled him into the spotlight. Jay Trigga has been a foundational and staple fixture in the rise of Afro-Fusion music in Zambia. Having made a name for himself with local and international collaborations with the likes of award-winning Nigerian hip hop act and actor Ice Prince Zamani and Dremo of DMW (Davido music worldwide ), The Zambian act carves a space for himself in Afri- ca’s Afro-fusion scene. This is only the beginning of Zambia’s Next Big Thing.
