Musician, DJ, producer & preserver of pickled Disco grooves. Co-founder and resident of Paradise Discs with releases and remixes featured on Hot Digits and Particle Zoo Recordings (forthcoming). Picklejam first began producing and mixing records after moving to Leeds in 2011 and starting his endeavours at university studying for a degree in music production. Back then things were a little different as he produced Tech-House under the alias 'Modec'. At this point he met inspiring Leeds based DJs who introduced him to the infectious sound of World Disco, this is were his direction changed. Taking inspiration from artists such as Fingerman, Ziggy Phunnk & Yam Who?; Picklejam has developed his signature sound which reflects his love for all things Cosmic Disco. His sets and productions reflect on the fundamentals of the genre, capturing its' essence with elements and characteristics of Italo Disco & Synthwave intertwined with Nu-disco production and cosmic sounds.
