Born in Brooklyn, New York, blues harp man and singer Steve Krase (rhymes with "ace") spent time in Ohio, California, and Louisiana before settling in Houston, Texas, where he became a fixture on the local blues and rock scene. Krase spent ten years as the harp player for regional favorites Jerry Lightfoot & the Essentials, moving on to a similar spot with Matt Leddy & the Meatcutters when the Essentials disbanded, and eventually formed his own band, Steve Krase & the In Crowd, releasing a debut album under that name, Easy Livin, in 2005, following it with Some Day in 2013 and Buckle Up in 2014. ~ Steve Leggett, Rovi
