THe MURZ also known as Kelvin Egonu is a Nigerian recording artist with a crazy mixture of afro beats and african native Juju Drums, which he calls the “Juju bounce”. He grew up in a Portharcourt city, which is located in the southern area of Nigeria, a city known for it’s high rate of gang voilence. 
 At age 13 he lost his father and was left with only his mum and siblings. This was a very tough time in his life, figuring out how to survive the life being thrown at him. Soon after, his love for music developed and he began chasing his professional music career right after the university by releasing series of singles like “Wild Pack” “Corny” “BDE” “Pretty Girl” and “Orgasms”. 
 In 2022 he made a cover video for the smash hit “Finesse” by Pheelz, the video which he posted on twitter got a surprising number over 24,000 views. Within that same year he got invited to the first edition of the Lemon Vinyl recording camp which took place in Lagos. Asides being a recording artist, he is also mixing and mastering engineer, most of his works are all engineered by him. His song “Pretty Girl” which his says is a song dedicated to his ex girlfriend gained over 5k plays and was featured on the “Alte cruise” editorial playlist on Apple Music.
