Over the years Monako has cemented himself into Sydney’s thriving bass and techno scene as a triple threat – a producer, DJ, and events promoter. Responsible for co-founding Big Ting Recordings, Monako has helped bring some of the worlds most renowned and accomplished artists to Sydney’s City and Inner-West. As an artist, Monako has refined his signature sound engraving techno, drum & bass, electro, ambient, and breakbeat components into his club-ready productions - which has scored him regular rotation on FBi Radio. While he continues to grow his list of achievements, Monako proudly represented Australia at Croatia’s infamous Outlook Festival in 2016 and has donned the stage at stateside events such as Subsonic, Secret Garden, Soft Centre, Dragon Dreaming plus a myriad of other parties across Sydney’s warehouse and club scene. Monako maintains an ear for menacing basslines and crunchy thumping drums within his sets, stretched across various tempos and unrestricted to genre in the electronic realm. His love for music and varied taste has made Monako an extremely versatile DJ, adjusting and immersing himself into any environment he finds himself in.
